Sumi Marks Sampler
In this 3.5-hour workshop, you will be introduced to (or revisit) various techniques for mark making with rich, black sumi ink and walnut ink. We will create severalsheets of textural marks and capture the best small marks clusters to place in a sampler book that you will make. We will explore various tools (both commercial and handmade) and visit some new areas of contemporary sumi art. No art experience required.
