Heifer Hitch Book - with Sally Penley on Zoom (class will be recorded)

Description: In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn to create an elegant, lay-flat book with hard cover and heavyweight pages using the heifer hitch binding technique. You will create three finished HH books—your 3” x 4” learning model, a watercolor book and a small book with printed pages. This book structure is perfect for small journals or photo books. You will also learn how to set up a heifer hitch book for printing multiple copies with printed pages.
Class will be limited to 25. No art experience necessary.
How it will work on Zoom: Two weeks before class, Sally will mail a kit with all the makings for the three books, including one that has printed pages. Just before class, you will receive an email with the bookmaking instructions and a Zoom link to enter the class.
Note: Participants outside the U.S. will be asked to pay for extra postage on the kit mailing.
Supplies: You will supply the following:
• 1/8” paper punch (smaller than a standard paper punch)
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Double-stick tape (recommend Sookwang 1⁄2” tape on Amazon)
• Glue stick (recommend Yamato brand)
• Pencil
All other project materials will be provided in the kit mailing.
