Description:
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will learn to use a pointed fiber-tipped brush to create beautiful thick-and-thin letters. To build awareness for the pressure-release technique to create the letters, you will also learn “faux calligraphy” which can be adapted to larger poster work. Pointed brush lettering is fun and freeing, done with speed and spirit.

Introduction to Calligraphy is suggested as a re-requisite, but not required.

Tools / Supplies:
• 3 Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens in 1) black, 2) choice of color and 3) Soft Grey or very light color
• Pad of marker paper (e.g., Canson XL Marker)
• Fine Sharpie non-bleed black pen 0.8, or Micron Pigma .08
• Pencil.
